Here are the few simple stages of booking with PetStay.

1st: Ring or email your local branch to discuss your dogs requirements and dates.
2nd: We will explain all about PetStay and what your next steps would be.
3rd: We then take all details about your dog and then match them to the most suitable carer.
4th: A meeting will be organised for you and your dog to meet the carer.
5th: If you are 100% happy with your carer you would then be ready to book with PetStay.
6th: No later than 5 days after your initial meeting, complete our on-line booking form and pay the arrangement fee.
7th: An email confirmation will be sent to you.
8th: You’re all booked in and don’t have to worry about anything.
9th: Drop your dog off at the carer’s home with food, a bed, toys, and anything else you think they might need.
10th: Go away with complete peace of mind and have a wonderful holiday.

*PetStay Arrangement Fee

Our daily rate is made up of the Arrangement Fee and the Carer’s Allowance.  These are 2 separate payments.  The Arrangement Fee is a payment to arrange and confirm the booking of your dog’s stay, and is due for payment within 5 days of meeting your dog carer.  For a repeat booking the Arrangement Fee is payable within 5 days of your requested dates being confirmed by PetStay.

The Arrangement Fee is non-refundable or non- transferable

The Arrangement Fee is for the service provided by your local PetStay branch in selecting a suitably matched dog carer for you and your dog.  The Arrangement Fee also represents a proportion of all the administration and ongoing business costs, including but not limited to, Public Liability and Employer Liability insurance, licensing, recruitment of carers, advertising, 24/7 support to carers, and business documentation giving you peace of mind and your dog a quality home dog boarding experience with PetStay.

The Dog Carer’s Allowance

The Carer’s Allowance is paid direct to the dog carer when you drop your dog off

I think Lynne is amazing, I liked a few of the carer’s, but Lynne is special, Lily loves her. Lynne is calm & organised, and very helpful. I wanted to let you know that myself and my husband were very impressed with the love and care that Maggie gave Bertie, he truly had a pampered holiday.  We collected him earlier today and he was so relaxed and chilled out. I have 2 little dogs, a Yorkie and a Yorki poo. They are my furr babies and I was so worried about leaving them with someone they didn’t know when I had to travel abroad for a family occasion recently.

Wendy, her husband Mick and son Brad are such a lovely welcoming family. They invited us in to their home to meet before my holiday and they did everything to help alleviate my worries.  Wendy kept in touch during my time away and sent pictures of my girls with updates on how they were doing. I was able to relax and enjoy my holiday knowing they were well cared for.

When I returned to collect them it was clear to see they had made themselves at home. I would definitely recommend Wendy and happily use her services again.

Just a quick message to thank PetStay and of course, ‘Vee’, who looked after Milo for three weeks whilst we were in Canada.

Milo was well looked after by Vee and enjoyed his stay with her and the family. As he is twelve years of age, he is a little feisty, and doesn’t always toe the line! Vee, as a seasoned and very experienced dog boarder, made sure that Milo did eat, albeit perhaps not entirely his usual diet, but he was happy to enjoy the finer things in life and bonded well with Vee and her family.  We would have no hesitation in placing Milo in her care in the future.

My boy Quince had a rough start in life which has left him nervous in some situations, causing him to rush & bark at men. This has meant that we have been hesitant to leave him with anyone. He also has severe separation anxiety.

Recently a situation arose which meant that we were going to put him in someone else’s care for a few days. I remembered meeting Sue the owner of PetStay West Midlands outside the deli in Boldmere . I recognised a kindred spirit in her deep love & understanding of dogs but also an appreciation of how tough it is for some owners to leave their precious pets in the care of someone else.

So I phoned her, and although she was about to fly to Spain, she asked me & Quince to go & meet her & her husband ( who’s the first man that Quince hasn’t barked at) and her beautiful girl dog Ruby. It all went well apart from Quinces thorough inspection of Ruby’s dinner, but he was quickly forgiven.

We booked in, filled in some paperwork.

Sue’s very professional & knowledgeable with a calmness about her that settled any worries I had.

Every day that we were away Sue sent us photos & updates. This meant that we could relax & give our full attention to what was going on .

When we picked him up he was happy to see us but not in that hysterical way that I was expecting.

I can’t thank Sue & the rest of team Quince enough. We will not hesitate to contact her again.

Minnie stayed with Roger and Gill last week whilst we were away.  Minnie has stayed with them on previous occasions and has always been happy there, this time was no different and Minnie even seemed excited when we arrived and trotted down the drive quite happily, when we left she barely gave us a backward glance! Blaise had a fabulous relaxing overnight stay with Julia and Sue. This was Blaise’s first time away from us. We were nervous about leaving him. But we had nothing to worry about. Julia and Sue made us feel at ease straight away. They are incredibly thoughtful, caring and kind. They wanted to make sure they knew everything about Blaise so they could make him feel as comfortable as possible. You will see from the picture, he was very settled and I couldn’t ask for nicer people to look after him. We are going on holiday in August and I would not want him to be looked after by anyone else.

Would definitely recommend using this company, especially if like me you have not really left your dog before and you are nervous about doing so. They take time and ask lots of questions to find out all about the dog and them match them to the best carers. Sue at the West Midlands North branch made sure that all my questions were answered and found me a lovely couple to look after Smudge, my elderly Jack Russell. Having met them before we went away we knew that Smudge would be well cared for by Veronica and Phil and he had the best time with them and their family. It helped that he was in a home environment and not kennels and meant that we relaxed more. We were sent pictures so we could see that he was well and settled and it was great that he was the only dog in the house as he can be worried by other dogs. If we needed to use them again we wouldn’t hesitate to do so.

This was the first time using PetStay, my usual boarders with a company were not available so I was a little nervous placing my girls with someone new. However, their stay with Lesley went well. Lesley was friendly and welcoming and keen to know about my dogs and best to look after them and what to look out for. Lesley was very thorough with completing the paper work and ensuring all documentation was completed. Lesley sent us photos of our dogs to show that they were settled which is always good and stops you worrying about them. Lesley messaged me about a rash on the belly of one of my dogs and I assured her that there was nothing to worry about, but it was good that she let me know about it. On collecting my dogs they were in good spirits and eager to see me, they were in good condition and I even think that Lesley had given them a bath as they smelt nice and fresh. I would leave my dogs with Lesley again with no worries. Thanks Lesley.

Fudge was looked after like he was their own! He is walked twice a day, given lots of affection and their home and garden is a great place for pets to play and get exercise! Sue and family were amazing with our two dogs, Sox and Sweep. Sweep has had a lot of anxiety lately and Sue made him relax and even got him out and about walking which he had been refusing to do lately. I honestly think both dogs didn’t want to come home. We were rather anxious to be leaving our 14 year old dog, Toby, for four weeks but having met and used the carers before (for a shorter stay), we knew that he would be in very good hands. We have found all Petstay organisers to be very helpful in overcoming any logistical problems. Our dog Fudge, a Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen, stayed with Anthony and Jane for 9 nights recently and was looked after exceptionally! Thank you for the pictures of his highness, they are his typical poses. He certainly seemed to enjoy being with you and the fact that you had no trouble with his eating was great. Sometimes he can show his annoyance by not eating his dinner.
I know he enjoyed being with you as he was about to come home with Martin when he dropped by. That is a good sign. Tom and I are absolutely thrilled that he has taken to you as this means we have a little more freedom.

I like the fact that you only take one dog at a time, Charlie is ok with others as you found but he is really a people dog. It is nice that he is in the home environment so it is home from home for him and he was very chilled out when we came to pick him up. Thank you all as a family for the love and attention you gave to our Charlie.

We would highly recommend this form of pet residency especially for dogs like Charlie who are used to being part of the family.
