PetStay Peterborough & South West Lincolnshire Branch
We’re Yvonne and Chris and we run the Peterborough and South-West Lincolnshire Branch of PetStay. We are passionate about dogs, with four in our pack at the moment – Lucy’s a 13-year-old crossbred Staffie, Skipper’s a Jack Russell, and Star and Alfie are sensitive, delicate ‘diva’ whippets. With their different needs and personalities they’re all very special – just like your dogs! They’re part of our family and we never put them into kennels when we go away. They like their home comforts too much! This is why we love the idea of PetStay, so that your dog can be looked after in a home from home while you enjoy a guilt-free holiday.
Why choose PetStay Peterborough and South-West Lincs
PetStay Peterborough and SW Lincs covers Sleaford, Grantham, Stamford, Bourne, Spalding, Wisbech, March, Chatteris, Peterborough, Huntingdon, St Ives and all the surrounding villages. Our host families will offer your dog a loving home whilst you’re away for a short break, a fortnight abroad, a business trip … we can match your dog to the best carer for his or her individual needs. Whether it’s daily walks, individual cuddles, special toys, favourite TV programmes … staying in a dog-lover’s home means your dog will get lots of love and attention. And that means you can relax and stop worrying!
Our host families
We carefully check our host families to ensure that they are the very best. All carers are experienced dog owners and most importantly – love dogs! You can choose to board your dog(s) alone or, if your dog enjoys doggie company, with a carer who has a friendly dog of their own. We never mix boarding dogs from different families. Safety is very important to us, and all hosts are personally checked by us, and fully insured.
How it Works
We take great care in getting to know you and your dog before they home board with PetStay. We will take full details of your dog’s routines, likes and dislikes so that we can find the perfect carer for him or her. We will guide you through the booking process and you can rest assured that all the necessary paperwork, licensing and insurance will be dealt with. We arrange for you and your dog to meet your carer and see where your dog will be staying before you go away. We also provide a ‘holiday list’ of essential items that will need to be packed to make sure your dog(s) have their favourite things with them. If you would like to book a holiday with us or find out more about our service, please do get in touch on the numbers or email below. We look forward to hearing from you and providing the very best home boarding that Peterborough and SW Lincs have to offer.
Become a carer
If you would like to apply to become a carer, we’d love to hear from you. All that is necessary is that you have experience of looking after dogs, are at home during the day, have a secure garden and no children under the age of 7. “You could become part of the PetStay Team! Give us call today.”

Frequently Asked Questions about becoming a PetStay Carer
What are the requirements of becoming a carer?
You must be a genuine dog lover, have experience of looking after dogs and you need to be home during the day so you have plenty of time to give to the dogs you are caring for. You must have a secure garden and agree to abide by PetStay guidelines. You are allowed to have a dog of your own as long as your dog gets on with other dogs.
How are your carers vetted?
If you meet all the requirements listed above, we will come and visit you at your home. We will check the security of the garden, explain PetStay procedures and show you the guidelines each carer needs to follow. If you are happy with everything and we feel you would make a suitable PetStay carer, we would follow up a reference and arrange public liability insurance for you.
How many dogs can I look after?
Our service is on a one-to-one basis, so only dogs from the same household will stay with you. You are allowed to take up to three dogs from the same household, BUT you choose what you are happy with. We will ask you how many dogs you would like to look after and what sized dog/s you would be happy to care for.
Do I have to provide the food?
No, the owner will bring any food or treats for the duration of the stay. Any toys, bedding, medication and leads will also be brought.
Does the dog/s have to be vaccinated?
Yes each dog MUST have up to date vaccinations, have been wormed and treated for fleas. Proof of the vaccinations will be brought to the meeting and shown to you.
What about walking the dogs?
All dogs should be taken out each day for walks. When you have your meeting with the owners all routines, including the number and length of walks, will be discussed. The dog is only ever walked on a lead.
What if the dog becomes ill?
We/you would endeavour to contact the owner or the emergency contact. The owner or the emergency contact would be liable for any expenses incurred in taking the dog to the vet.
Will I be paid?
You will receive an allowance per day. Please contact us for more details.
What happens next?
If you are interested in becoming a carer, please ring us for an informal chat and ask any questions or email us with your details and we will come back to you. You can also use the contact form on the ‘contact us’ tab. If we feel you are suitable we would then arrange to visit you at home.

We just wanted to thank you both for finding us such a lovely person in Lesley to look after Ollie. We collected him this morning and were struck at the bond they had established while we were away. She is a credit to your business which is so crucial for those of us who place their trust in someone to take on such an important role. You can be justly proud of what you have established – an efficient and caring service which we were impressed with throughout the process. Until next time.
Our best wishes.

Thank you for finding Jacqui to look after Harley when I went on holiday to Malta last year and most recently Ireland. Jacqui is perfect and understands Harley’s needs – as being a beagle, he can be quite boisterous! I always know Harley will be okay when he is with Jacqui and that makes me not worry at all! I will happily be using Jacqui again when planning our next holiday!
Katie & Harley
Thank you so much for the wonderful service we received from yourselves and Poppy’s fantastic carers Linda and Mark. They looked after Poppy brilliantly and they kept our minds at rest with daily updates on Poppy’s adventures! We collected a very happy dog at the end of our holiday.
I would definitely use Petstay again and I would have no hesitation recommending it to all of my friends.

Our little Bella has been to stay with Clive and Karen at Buckden during the time we were on holiday in France. I am very pleased to say that Bella was happy during her time with them and whereas we missed her terribly, we didn’t worry about her at all! They were so kind and caring and even took time to send us brief reports on WhatsApp. We appreciated that so much! We now feel that we will be happy to leave Bella with them some time again in the future.
With kind regards and thank you!

Bella & Sasha
What a lovely lady Tricia is! We felt totally happy with leaving Bella and Sasha with her. She emailed us and kept us up to date with what they dogs were doing and even sent photos of them and they looked like they were very happy. We would not hesitate to use Tricia again. Our dogs have found a holiday home!
I am extremely happy with the service you provide. I know that Mark and Linda took great care of Hattie and she settled really well. I am so grateful to them both for having her to stay with them, especially as she is still a young puppy. It was lovely to receive daily messages and pictures from Hattie! She obviously had a lot of fun and I wouldn’t hesitate to let her stay there again.
We loved the service given by Yvonne and Chris from PetStay. Karen and Marc were great carers for Bandit during our break. They sent us regular photos and updates and put our minds at rest. We collected a very excited and happy pup at the end of our holiday! It’s nice to know there is a safe home for him to go to when we need it again.

This was the first time we have been on a month-long vacation and were anxious about leaving our pet labrador, Piku, in a kennel. I did some research and came across Petstay on Facebook and it was an absolute blessing to find Yvonne and her wonderful team of pet carers. The meeting, booking process and follow-ups went smoothly. Piku stayed with Lynda and David and she had the best time. She went for long walks, car rides and seemed to enjoy herself. Lynda kept me updated on Piku regularly so we could holiday in peace. We came home to a happy looking pet. Thank you Yvonne, Lynda and David for everything. We look forward to more holidays with Piku in your care.
Ember & Luna, with carer Chris
We are extremely happy with the stay Ember and Luna recently had with Pete and Chris. They seemed to have been very well looked after, had gleaming coats and were very happy. We would definitely have them stay there again.
Bev and Mike were amazing and really well suited to George who loved his stay. The matching of George to Bev and Mike was perfect and it was a real home from home experience for him, just like his own holiday! We had picture updates for peace of mind throughout the week. We will 100% be using PetStay again.
Paul and Hannah
Our Labrador/Springer Spaniel cross, Bryn, spent a week in the care of Peter and Christine West.
He has usually been boarded in kennels and has returned looking distressed. This week was completely the reverse. When we picked Bryn up, he was looking fit and well and clearly enjoyed his time in their care. Bryn was reluctant to leave as I think Peter and Christine gave him more attention than we are able to.
The whole process from the initial enquiry through to the week’s stay at Peter and Christine’s was professional and handled with care and sensitivity.
I would recommend Peter, Christine and PetStay to anyone looking for an alternative to the usual kennels. It is, without doubt, the way forward for our future boarding needs.
Clementine & Mabel
PetStay was very straightforward to arrange. There was an opportunity to view the home the dogs would be staying in before the booking was made. The home was a good environment and the carers were friendly and relaxed and a pleasure to talk to. Most importantly the dogs seemed happy there and we were able to enjoy our weekend away. This is a really good alternative to kennels.
Mylow stayed with Mary while I had a holiday.
I was so impressed with how Mary cared for Mylow – she was attentive to all his needs, allowing him to settle on dog beds in her comfortable home, even making a Tuggy toy to play with. Then keeping me informed of how he was with photos, as I had requested. Here is Mylow with one of the toys Mary made, and another settling in her home.
I will certainly now be able to have weekends away or holidays, knowing that Mylow can stay with PetStay carers and enjoy a holiday as well.
Barney & Betty
Many thanks for arranging Barney and Betty’s short break with Mark and Linda; as you can see from two of the photos they sent us both have their paws well and truly “under the table”. We received an update and about 4 photos each day and were very reassured by this. Linda even mended one of Barney’s toys for him – I was very impressed by that!
We would have no hesitation in using Petstay again and would be very happy for Barney and Betty to stay with Mark and Linda again.
Thank you again.
Gilly & Mike
Merlin had a fantastic holiday with Lesley. Not sure he wanted to come home! He looked so fit and well and we are so grateful for Lesley’s care. She contacted us several times during our holiday to say he was ok and sent pictures which is very reassuring. We wouldn’t hesitate in using PetStay and Lesley again as Merlin thinks it’s his second home now! Although he was exhausted from Big Walks 😂
We are so glad we found PetStay and without your help wouldn’t have been able to go away feeling Merlin had the special care he needed. I’m sure he is looking forward to his next stay with Pat in Sept.
I was worried about leaving Ollie, but Yvonne and Chris were really helpful and reassuring. They took lots of details about Ollie to make sure he would be happy with the carer. Pauline set my mind at rest as soon as I met her. She was lovely – very calm and confident, and you can tell she knows a lot about dogs. Ollie had a great time and Pauline really fell in love with him! I am looking forward to planning more holidays now that I have somewhere to leave Ollie where he will be loved just like he is at home.
We were really happy with Bracken’s stay with Tricia last weekend.
Tricia was very good with Bracken and made sure we discussed any possible issues before leaving him. I felt totally confident leaving him in her care and found a happy, relaxed dog when I collected him after the break.
I would be happy for Tricia to look after Bracken again if needed in the future.
Rupert had a wonderful time with Chris and Pete. He was really well looked after and really enjoyed his stay. I would use your services again in a heartbeat. Thank you for everything.
I’m so glad I found your service. I have recommended PetStay to all my dog owner friends.
I was more than happy with how the whole process worked and how it felt you treat my dog as one of your own. Robyn, who looked after Patch, was lovely and seemed to really take a shine to Patch. I will definitely be using PetStay again and will highly recommend to anyone who requires something similar.
We are new clients to PetStay and right from the first moment I spoke to Chris I felt happy I was getting a friendly, professional and understanding service that I wanted. After listening to what type of dog Hamish is Chis suggested we try Jacky and he wasn’t wrong – what a wonderful carer and person she is. Both Hamish and I hit it off with her straight away. After his second stay with her, when we went to pick him up and he came out to the car with us then turned back and went back to Jacky – that’s the best endorsement you can ask for. It makes such a difference to our holiday knowing Hamish is being cared for by someone who understands his funny ways!! Thank you Team PetStay
I would like to thank you for putting me in touch with Mark and Linda about looking after Rufus. I collected Rufus last night and he was a very happy dog. He had obviously been well looked after and had plenty of attention as he seemed to be quite at home with them both.
I would feel quite happy about leaving Rufus with Mark and Linda at any time in the future. Once again many thanks.
We used PetStay for the first time a fortnight ago. We would just like you to know that Alfie was looked after by Laura & family (not forgetting the lovely Tilly) extremely well, even going to the extent of texting us to let us know that Alfie had settled in and was a happy boy. That kind message was really appreciated after he had not coped very well at all in kennels in January. We look forward to leaving him in Laura’s care in a few weeks’ time.
We are extremely impressed with the care and attention given by yourselves in placing Alfie with the ideal carer. We must admit that he did appear to be quite “bored” just being with us when he came home – he obviously enjoyed being part of the family.
Many thanks all round. We will have no hesitation in passing our recommendations on
John & Elaine
This is Lucy, our miniature Schnauzer, who is a lovely bundle of nervous energy! We really needed a carer who would tick all her, and our, boxes. After talking through our long list with Chris he knew who to call. Pauline is everything we could have wished for and more – she is so welcoming and a true dog lover. We leave Lucy in the secure knowledge she will have a ball without us, thus happy owners and a happy little dog . We would recommend this service – so much better than kennels
“We found Chris and Pete very reassuring and relaxed. The dogs settled in really quickly and when we picked them up were still their usual happy, relaxed selves. They really had experienced a home from home. We hope we can share our dogs with Chris and Pete again.”
“My experience with PetStay has been excellent. After making an initial enquiry there was a personal telephone call with Chris who took all the details of our requirements and our dog, Chilli. He is a very large standard poodle and only 18 months old – he can be very lively so we knew it may be difficult to find somewhere to have him that we were happy with. We had been let down by local pet sitters and to be honest I think his size was a factor.
Chris and Yvonne matched us with Jacqui, and Chilli and I went to meet her. Jacqui was very calm and knew the best way to deal with Chilli, firm but kind, and the introduction to Jacqui and her dog Mylow went very well. Jacqui’s home has a huge garden which was very important to us as he has a lot of energy and we knew he would be safe there.
Chilli stayed for 3 days with Jacqui earlier this month and we couldn’t have been happier. He had lots of long walks on his lead and plenty of time playing in the garden off lead with Mylow. Jacqui sent photos via texts and messages telling me how he was getting on which was very reassuring. Chilli got on well with Jacqui and Mylow and I certainly did too. In fact it was so successful we have booked 3 more trips away and Chilli is staying with Jacqui each time.
I would certainly recommend PetStay as, despite short notice initially, they certainly did come up trumps.”
“Yvonne and Chris – we would like to thank you for finding Pat for us. Between the three of you, Dexter has a second home to go to when we are on holiday, and that was exactly what we wanted.
We also appreciated the trial afternoons Pat provided just so that Dexter would become familiar with her and her home – she really did want him to be happy. He was really comfortable with Pat and almost looked at me as if to say “What are you doing back?” when I picked him up.
We were in contact while we were away and photos were sent to us which was lovely as of course we missed him.
So thank you again and especially Pat for taking brilliant care of our most precious pooch.”
Lisa, Lee, Beau,Toby & Dexter 🐾
“This was the first time I used PetStay due to being let down with existing arrangements. Yvonne and Chris were wonderful, they found a loving home for my fur baby at short notice. I went on holiday with peace of mind, that Dexter was being looked after and spoilt like he would be at home. Very professional service. I would highly recommend, and will definitely be using them again”
We wanted to drop you a line to tell you how successful Jip’s first stay with Christine and Peter was. They have obviously looked after her tremendously well…she looks happy, well fed and well exercised! It is evident how much they love and understand dogs and we would be very happy if they are able to take her again in the future.
So glad we found PetStay.
Gillian & John
This is the first time that we have used PetStay and I am pleased to say that we will definitely be using this service again! The personal touch and attention to detail has been excellent from the start with PetStay.
Clive and Karen, who looked after our dog, were both very kind and welcoming with the end result of a very happy pooch and owner.
I would not hesitate to recommend this service to anyone looking for a ‘home from home’ experience for their pet.
Shaun & Sandy
Hi Yvonne and Chris, We were very pleased with Elsa’s stay with Bev and Mike. It was such a relief to know that she was being well looked after while we were away. Having an older dog is a worry when you are away, but being matched with a couple who also have an older dog meant they understood her needs and she had fantastic care and attention! Bev and Mike sent us photos on WhatsApp during the stay so we could see how happy Elsa was which really put our minds at rest ..thank you PetStay!
Missy & Murphy
Hi Yvonne and Chris
I was really impressed with the service you offer, from my initial urgent enquiry through to meeting carers Karen and Clive.
Karen and Clive are lovely and I knew the minute I went for the initial visit I would be happy to leave Missy and Murphy with them. Whilst away they sent me updates of how Missy and Murphy were settling in, when I picked them up I could tell they had been well looked after and cared for.
I will definitely be using PetStay in the future, it enabled me to have a much needed relaxing holiday knowing that Missy and Murphy were being well looked after 🙂 Many thanks
Our first experience of the PetStay boarding service was excellent. Your selection of Barry and Pat to look after Saoirse could not have been better. From the moment we got together up for our first meeting, we all clicked. Saoirse settled very well. This was the first time she stayed with anyone outside the family. As she is such a family dog and always close to us, we were very cautious about leaving her. But we not have worried! Pat and Barry were as happy to have her as she was happy to be with them. We were greeted enthusiastically on our return but Saoirse was not in a hurry to leave giving all of us time to catch up on the week.
We would happily leave her with them in the future and they have said that they would be very happy to have her again.
It is such a relief to find people who are comfortable to accommodate her and us.
Thank you for providing this terrific service.
Pete & Mary
Reggie had a marvellous time with David and Lynda. It really was a home away from home for Reggie and he loved the long country walks with them both. They were particularly great with his needs as a new puppy and we enjoyed our time away knowing that Reggie was in safe hands.
We would definitely use PetStay again.
We just wanted to say a huge ‘thank you’ to Linda, one of the PetStay carers, for looking after Fudge. Linda did an amazing job entertaining Fudge, and sending us regular updates and – it was so reassuring. Fudge had a lovely holiday as you can see from the pictures, and we will be using PetStay services again.
Beanie & Roo
We would just like to say how amazing Jacky was with our two dogs. I was very concerned about Beanie given his attention issues but he was fine and really happy, as was Roo. We won’t hesitate to leave the boys with Jacky again.
Sallie and Patrick
Sam & Jake
Dear Yvonne and Chris
Leaving our boys is not an easy thing for us to do. They are very much a part of our family, so finding the right person to take care of them as well as we would was a challenge. Or at least until we met Pat. Pat made our boys, Sam and Jake, feel welcome from our very first visit where she had a ball ready for them to play with. They trashed it and I was mortified but Pat didn’t seem in the least bit concerned by this. We met with Pat not once but twice to make sure that everyone was happy. It really did make me feel so much better, because our boys aren’t exactly docile. They are a Welsh Collie and a Border Collie and they like to be active.
Dropping off everything we could think of to Pat to make the boys feel at home, we had no problems leaving them there. Pat did an excellent job of making them feel loved in our absence and she made us feel calmer by emailing us photos of the boys. It’s this little touch that really put us at ease. Being able to see them when we are away and making sure our furbabies looked happy and healthy allowed us to truly focus on our holiday. I couldn’t recommend Pat more highly. In fact the whole experience of dealing with PetStay has been a very easy road.
Thanks very much for all of your help and we look forward to using PetStay again in the future
Alethea and Matt
Dear Yvonne and Chris
We were very happy with our first experience using PetStay, albeit for only a short three day stay.
Dotty, our Jack Russell, settled in well with her carers Christine and Peter and came back to us in fine form having enjoyed her ‘holiday’.
She had obviously been well looked after and made a fuss of.
We hope to use your services in the future.
Anthony & Gillian
Just to say, I have collected Rosie. Both she and her carers, Liz and Dave, seem to have had a happy and successful time whilst we were away.
Dave and Liz were very complimentary about Rosie. Rosie’s body language was comfortable and relaxed.
Thank you very much for arranging the care package.
I was very happy with Tebbe’s care while I was on holiday. Tebbe’s pet carers took great care of him – they were caring, gentle and understanding of his fears. He was so settled when I came to collect him, he didn’t seem to want to leave! He had received lots of love and walks. Will definitely use again and recommend.
Attached picture shows Tyler relaxing back home after his ‘family holiday’ – as arranged by PetStay.
This was the first time we have used PetStay and everything worked out fine.
We took Tyler to meet his ‘holiday’ family a couple of weeks before he joined them for his 10-day stay. That was important, and reassuring for all parties.
We hope to use PetStay again in 2018, as we prefer not to use kennels. Tyler seems much happier in a family home.
Thanks again Yvonne and Chris for your help.
Keith & Chris
The service provided by PetStay was faultless – everything worked exactly as you said it would & without any hiccups at all.
Pearl & Ben were absolutely great – in fact it was difficult to get Jazzie back into the car after she had stayed with them.
Jazzie decided to get a viral infection prior to her stay, which required a fair amount of medication at differing times & dates – naturally as owners we were concerned for her health – but we needn’t have worried. Everything was administered exactly as it should have been, so we were very relieved & naturally Jazzie got better – eventually!
Summing everything up – we were delighted with the service and will definitely be using you again. It is very reassuring for us to know that Jazzie is being looked after in the home of responsible dog carers, rather than spending time alone in kennels surrounded by other dogs that voice their feelings when being parted from their owners – Jazzie came back happy, which was brilliant.
Thanks once again and please pass our grateful thanks over to Pearl & Ben.
It was lovely to go away and know that Charlie was being well cared for. He is missing his playmate but has now settled back into our routine. Jacqui was a lovely lady and I knew he was in a safe and loving household. Many thanks from the both of us and I would not hesitate to use you again and have told many people of the excellent service I received.
Yours Sue and Charlie. Xx
Just to let you know that my lovely dog, Bob, had his trial 3 days with Pat and they both got along very well indeed. Pat kept me updated and sent me photos too. I cannot thank her enough for taking such good care of him and will not be worried at leaving him with her again. Please thank her again on our behalf and kisses from Bob too.
Thank you so much for arranging for Boo Boo to stay with Pat. We really couldn’t have asked for a better service. From making the first enquiry to collecting Boo on our return was very simple.
What can I say about Pat? From the first meeting I knew that Boo would be spoilt rotten and cared for like she was one of her own. She kept me updated whilst away with pictures (including one of Boo sprawled on her bed) and she was very flexible with the short notice rearrangement of pick up times when my flight was delayed.
I’ve attached some picture of Boo Boo making herself at home around Pat’s house!
I would not hesitate to use Petstay (and Pat) again.
Tessa & Poppy
Picked my two up on Saturday from Pat and Barry. They were happy and settled and had clearly had a fabulous mini-break of their own. So happy with this service – Pat and Barry were interested in the dogs and their normal routines and seemed to genuinely enjoy having them – it meant I could enjoy my daughters wedding without worrying about them. I had been so stressed at the idea of leaving them in kennels, I cannot emphasise enough what a blessing finding pet stay was and how wonderful Pat and Barry were with them xx
I just wanted to say how delighted we are to have found Petstay and how much of a relief it was when we met Peter and Christine – we went away with no worries about leaving Louis with them. They are so patient, calm and caring and as a result, he was just so happy being in their care. The emails and photograph updates kept us updated and allowed us to continue enjoying our time away without worrying. Although he was thrilled to see me when I collected him, I could see how happy and settled he was in their care. I will definitely be using them again, our puppy happy is us happy.
Thanks again for all your help and for matching us with them.
Madge & Harry
Thank you very much for helping us find some where for our two dogs, Madge and Harry. Rita was lovely, and both Madge and Harry liked her and were happy to stay. I wouldn’t put my dogs into kennels because I don’t like them, but this was great living with someone who wants to have them and make a fuss of them. Both my dogs were happy when we went to get them. Thanks once again for all your help.
This was our first time using PetStay and I had concerns as the previous company we tried sent us to people who didn’t meet any of our requirements which becomes awkward.
This was so different. They listened carefully to our detailed wish list and came up with three people for us to choose from. We visited the first couple that weekend and they were everything we wanted. They seemed to form an instant bond with our dog and we left feeling really relaxed about going away. We will definitely use them again.
I would say be totally honest about your dog’s needs and any behaviour problems to make sure you are paired with the best home.
It was lovely to hear that Rubee had not been a problem to Clive and Karen. She is not a problem dog but you never know how a dog will be with someone new and we had never left her with a boarder before. We are very happy with the service you have provided along with Clive and Karens care of Rubee. They sent her home with a DVD of pictures and she has not even been in a bad mood with us since our return from holiday 🙂
We will be using your services again in the future and would be happy to confirm this to any future customers on your behalf.
Many thanks again
It is a pleasure to send you a review, in fact meant to sooner. I couldn’t have been more happy with Clive & Karen. They were wonderful with Bailey & kept me up to date with her progress as it was the first time I had left her. Bailey loved them from her first introduction. I would have no hesitation in using your service again & have recommended you to friends.

Hi Yvonne and Chris,
Just wanted to let you know how delighted we have been with your company’s service. Very efficient and helpful and Jacky was absolutely lovely with our dogs. I don’t think they wanted to come home. I will recommend you and especially Jacky to all my friends. Thank you for such great service

I would like to say a huge thankyou from Fudge 🐾🐾 to Jacky, one of the dog carers from Petstay Peterborough and South West Lincolnshire. Fudge had a fabulous holiday with you whilst we were away Jacky. Thanks for putting up with her obsession with balls and water, and the long walks .The regular updates with photos were so reassuring that she was settled in and greatly appreciated. Many thanks. You’re a fantastic doggy carer .We will definitely will be using you services again 😀🐾🐾x
I would like to thank you for organising such a great stay for Merlin.
Jacky was an absolute star. She informed me everyday what Merlin was doing and how he settled in. She made me feel like I just left Merlin with a family member. She is a lovely, caring person whom I needed for my furry baby.
I had a great short break without worrying about Merlin first time in almost 5 years.
Once again, thank you
Merlin had a fantastic stay with Lesley. As soon as we arrived he settled down in the dining room and didn’t seem to worry when we left. Lesley kept in contact with us over the weekend with updates and he thoroughly enjoyed his countryside long walks and sunbathing in her lovely garden.
We would love to book again please. We will definitely book for next summer in plenty of time, hopefully in the next few months x
Thank you for the care and attention you gave to finding the right person for Merlin and to Lesley for her kindness and care of Merlin.

Firstly, a big thank you to you for matching us up with Jacky.
If I could have only have one word to say about her it would be that she is “wonderful”. But one word is not enough. She is such a lovely, caring and amazing person. We couldn’t have wished for a nicer person to look after our babies.
She has looked after our dogs as if they are her own. Nothing has been too much trouble. I can honestly say that we all love her and that we will definitely be in touch when we go away again. It is such a shame that she doesn’t live closer as I feel that we have made a friend for life. That being said we are happy to travel that extra mile just so we can see her again.
Please pass on our thanks again and I promise that we will be in touch soon.
“We would like to highly recommend Petstay for their efficient and excellent service
Since adopting Daisy this was the first time we had left her for a holiday. We were impressed by the efficiency with which Yvonne recognised our needs and organised for us to meet Jacky, the potential carer. After meeting Jacky we went through a very easy booking process.
Daisy had a wonderful time with Jacky with plenty of walks and lots of loving care. She came home a very happy doggy – in fact we are not sure she missed us at all! Jacky was just wonderful, a real dog lover who cared for Daisy as if she was her own. We are very happy dog owners and will use Petstay again, particularly Jacky if she is available.
Thank you both Yvonne and Jacky again.”
Heather and Tony and of course Daisy
I would like to thank PetStay for helping me find a loving home for my dog to stay with when I had a last minute cancellation by a friend. From my first phone call with Yvonne all the way through to picking Bonnie up was seamless and I always felt Bonnie was in safe and secure hands. I couldn’t recommend PetStay enough as I never had a doubt that Bonnie would be safe and happy whilst I was away, and picking her up when I got back confirmed this as she was very happy but sleepy from all the fun she’d been having. I’ll definitely be using again!

PetStay Peterborough & South West Lincs has received a paw’some 5⭐️ review:
Petstay found us fabulous pet carers for our beautiful boys!
An excellent efficient all round service. Excellent quality pet carers and fabulous attention to detail. I will have no hesitation about using the service again. Our boys were loved and cared for and made to feel part of the family. Which for any pet owner is the key to happy pets, happy holidays and a relaxed stay. Well done Dave and Lynda you are amazing.
We would highly recommend PetStay to anyone and particularly Linda in Grantham. She looked after Ebony very well enabling us to have a stress free journey down South. We will certainly be contacting her again (through PetStay) if and when the need arises.

Florence & Daphne
“This is the first time I have used anyone other than family to look after Florence and Daphne and was keen to make sure I was matched with the right carers. Yvonne introduced us to Mike and Bev and I immediately liked them, as did the pups!! Although they only stayed for one night as a trial run I could clearly see they had been spoilt rotten! Yvonne, Bev and Mike also knew that this was the first time I had left my dogs and was slightly worried and sent me regular updates with pictures to reassure me they were happy. I would have no hesitation in recommending Petstay and will certainly use Bev and Mike again. Thank you.”
“This is the first time we have used PetStay and am only too please to write a first class review. We have a 9 year old golden retriever, Bella, who has never stayed in kennels. She loves her home comforts including cuddles and plenty of fuss. Through Yvonne and Chris we were introduced to Christine and Peter who had just signed up with PetStay as dog carers. We had an initial meeting with them at their home and immediately they made Bella feel welcome. Bella stayed with them for a week and was so relaxed with them, she was almost reluctant to come home! It is so comforting to know that we can go away knowing that Bella is so happy and well looked after and her routine is not disrupted.
We will certainly be using PetStay again in the future.”

Christine & Peter
Christine and Peter became PetStay carers in January 2017
“Having spent many years with either cats or dogs as part of our families, or helping out with the local Vet, we were looking to fill a space left when our last dear cat passed away. We are retired and did not want to take in another pet on a permanent basis. Home boarding of dogs seemed the ideal way to go.
Our Franchise leaders. Yvonne and Chris, have our books filling up nicely and we are already having repeat visits. Having them to support us, and take away all the admin, is a real bonus……and they obviously enjoy what they are doing.
The experience of having doggie guests in our own home is very rewarding. It’s amazing how the dogs respond once they realise they are in a caring and friendly environment. Yes, we have had to clear up muddy footprints, tidy toys, vacuum more often, remember our guests medication, build our timetable around our guests, but it is really is worthwhile considering the companionship they offer. They each have a character of their own and we have learnt to adapt to the idiosyncrasies of the individual……..following you around like a shadow, jumping with pure joy when you come home, lying and watching as you do gardening, sitting resolutely until you agree with them which direction to walk.
We know we have made the right choice in joining PetStay and will renew our licence next December simply because we are having fun. We are meeting so many different dogs, many having already been booked ahead into our busy diary………..now when can Christine and I manage to get another caravan trip fitted in I wonder ?”
