PetStay are pleased to announce PetStay South Essex branch received 5 stars by their local authority,
In October of this year, the updated Animal Welfare Regulations came into effect meaning home dog boarding licenses were changing. Local authorities across England have worked hard to begin implementing the new regulations that aim to improve the standard of animal care for pet sitters, doggy daycares and boarding kennels.
Jo, of PetStay South Essex, said: “I think it would be fair to say I am extremely proud to receive a 5-star rating by Castle Point Council.
“We have worked hard to implement the changes arising from the new Animal Welfare Regulations which will enhance our already high standard of dog care and animal welfare.”
The star rating of boarders, kennels, breeders and more will be shared on the local council website and available for the public to view.
Carole Davy, managing director of PetStay, said: “This will be the first of many 5-star ratings for our Petstay branches that show our commitment to happy, safe dog care.”
