PetStay Leeds & Ilkley Branch
Welcome to the Leeds and Ilkey branch of PetStay. My name is Cheryl and this is Dookie, he is a rescue dog and has been with my family for the past 10 years.
As a dog owner myself I completely understand the importance of knowing that your dog is happy and well cared for when you go on your well-earned holiday, they are after all one of the family. Here at PetStay we offer a safe, loving home from home for your dog with one of our carefully selected carers.
Once we’ve had a chat and found out more about your dog I can then match him/her to the perfect carer and arrange a meeting so that you can feel confident that your dog will be settled once you are on holiday. We believe that your dog will be happier sticking to their daily routine and, as we do not mix dogs from other households, the stay will be exclusive to your dog. We ask that you bring your dog’s lead, bed, food and their favourite toys for their stay so that everything is familiar to them. Also, rest assured, your dog will only ever be walked on the lead and we ensure all carers’ gardens are secure. Lastly, all of our carers are referenced, fully insured plus, they all love dogs!
Please contact me if you would like more information on our service, I will be happy to help you and answer any questions you may have. Also, we are always on the lookout for other like-minded people who would be interested in joining our team, if this is you, I would love to hear from you.

Frequently Asked Questions about becoming a PetStay Carer
What are the requirements of becoming a carer?
You must be a genuine dog lover, have experience of looking after dogs and you need to be home during the day so you have plenty of time to give to the dogs you are caring for. You must have a secure garden and agree to abide by PetStay guidelines. You are allowed to have a dog of your own as long as your dog gets on with other dogs.
How are your carers vetted?
If you meet all the requirements listed above, we will come and visit you at your home. We will check the security of the garden, explain PetStay procedures and show you the guidelines each carer needs to follow. If you are happy with everything and we feel you would make a suitable PetStay carer, we would follow up a reference and arrange public liability insurance for you.
How many dogs can I look after?
Our service is on a one-to-one basis, so only dogs from the same household will stay with you. You are allowed to take up to three dogs from the same household, BUT you choose what you are happy with. We will ask you how many dogs you would like to look after and what sized dog/s you would be happy to care for.
Do I have to provide the food?
No, the owner will bring any food or treats for the duration of the stay. Any toys, bedding, medication and leads will also be brought.
Does the dog/s have to be vaccinated?
Yes each dog MUST have up to date vaccinations, have been wormed and treated for fleas. Proof of the vaccinations will be brought to the meeting and shown to you.
What about walking the dogs?
All dogs should be taken out each day for walks. When you have your meeting with the owners all routines, including the number and length of walks, will be discussed. The dog is only ever walked on a lead.
What if the dog becomes ill?
We/you would endeavour to contact the owner or the emergency contact. The owner or the emergency contact would be liable for any expenses incurred in taking the dog to the vet.
Will I be paid?
You will receive a daily allowance starting from £12 per day.
What happens next?
If you are interested in becoming a carer, please ring us for an informal chat and ask any questions or email us with your details and we will come back to you. You can also use the contact form on the ‘contact us’ tab. If we feel you are suitable we would then arrange to visit you at home.

Maya recently stayed with Pat and John. Maya has a number of health issues and separation anxiety so finding someone who is prepared to take her on and love her and look after her in the way Pat and John have is a blessing. She was really settled with Pat and John and it was obvious when we came to pick her up that she was happy and content with them. Will definitely use PetStay again – in fact, we are in the process of booking now and only been back 6 days!! Thanks to Pat and John for their exceptional care and Cheryl for arranging.
Hope had a wonderful time with Rita who went above and beyond to accommodate her strange behaviour in refusing to go into the kitchen.!!
RIta patiently took her out of the front door to the back garden throughout her stay.
Cannot recommend PetStay enough.
Oscar our 4year old Lab spent almost 2weeks with Harry and Linda, he has had a lovely time settled really quickly and made himself right at home. He has been looked after like one of their family which is exactly why I chose PetStay.
Lovely people and a very happy Oscar
Thank you to Cheryl for recommending Harry and Linda, same time next year
John and Pat have looked after Fudge a couple of times. Fudge is always excited when she gets dropped at their place. John and Pat are very friendly and Fudge is very well looked after. A few times Fudge has had health issues and John and Pat followed all my instructions made sure she was at ease all the time with plenty of love and care!
What a wonderful service I have received from the Leeds Petstay branch. Max stayed with Pat and John from the 22nd to the 28th December 2018. From the moment booking with PetStay everything went so smoothly and when we went to meet Pat and John we knew that Max would be very well looked after and very loved. I went on holiday feeling relaxed that max was happy. He got plenty of loves and I could not recommend PetStay enough. Thank you.
Pat and John look after Nina so well – she is so happy when she arrives and is so well looked after – a big thank you to Pat and John. Also thanks to Cheryl for arranging the stay.
I was very happy with the service I received from PetStay and their carers. They have been very accommodating to meet my dog and my own needs and I already have Tillie booked to go back again.
Rogan knows Flo and family so well that he races into her house, tail wagging. Flo keeps in touch while we are away, sends photos and we are extremely happy to leave him with her. We particularly like the fact that only one dog can be cared for. Thank you to Flo and Cheryl of Petstay.
Hope had a lovely time with Rita who was friendly and accommodating. We would certainly have no hesitation in recommending Petstay and Rita and will be certainly be using them again.
Once again we used the services of Petstay Leeds to look after our little pooch Cassie. We can honestly say we wouldn’t use any other service as we don’t think anyone else could match our expectations. From the professionalism and friendliness of Cheryl who looks after our needs arranging our carers to the actual caring and kind nature itself of Harry and Linda and also Jayne and Michael whom Cassie stays with, we are truly happy that Cassie gets the love and care she would from them, as if she were at home – in fact she probably gets spoilt even more to be honest and wishes she could stay longer!! We never hestitate in using Petstay and certainly would highly recommend their services to anyone thinking of using them for the first time as you can be assured your precious four legged loved one will be more than well cared for.
David & Hilary
Thanks Cheryl, I was very happy with the service you provided. Kathy was lovely, as you said!
Once again Amber was looked after by Kathy extremely well, Amber really loves going to Kathy’s and to play and sometimes torment Misty, Kathy’s lovable dog. When going away I will always use PetStay. Thanks again Cheryl for organising her stay.
Christine did her usual fantastic job with Pip. We feel he had a far superior social time than we did.
His own rug to curl up in, a garden to wizz around in and the social treats planned for him. Pip being a very sociable animal, despite his poor puppyhood in Crete.
Grandchildren to play with, neighbours to make a fuss of him and a ladies luncheon group to meet and charm. These were all discussed with us beforehand by Christine.
Pip was obviously happy as first thing he did on arrival, after licking Christine, was go straight through lounge to kitchen cupboard where food/treats are kept.
We are exceptionally happy with service provided and our Pip’s reactions on arrival show he agrees with us.
You go away leaving your beloved dog with strangers, there was no need as Linda and Harry our first experience with PetStay made Baillie very welcome and we had no worries. A week later and picking her up you could see the care given and how happy she was. Thanks to Linda and Harry.
Our dog Poppy was looked after by Rita in Horsforth, Leeds and her stay with Rita was arranged via Cheryl at Leeds and Ilkley PetStay. We collected a very happy relaxed Poppy upon our return from holiday and would definitely use this Carer again. Poppy previously has stayed many times at 2 different kennels and although they looked after her well and kept her safe she didn’t thrive in that environment – she usually had lost a lot of weight – and her voice! – and seemed traumatised.
Fudge was so very well looked after by Pat and John. When I dropped Fudge to their house, Fudge was so happy to see them again as she has missed them. This was the third time they have had looked after her. Very welcoming couple and so friendly. Would definitely recommend Pat and John. Thank you for making a wonderful stay for our pet Fudge and we enjoyed our holiday not worrying about her at all 5 Star
Also would like to thank you for helping me to choose the right carer for Fudge and also very easy to communicate with yourself.
Myles stayed with Sophie for a week. He seemed happy and content during his stay. Sophie was professional throughout his stay keeping me informed of his antics.
We have used Pet stay for many years for Woody as we like him to have a “home” experience whilst we’re away rather than kennels. He is always very well cared for and we feel very confident leaving him in capable and caring hands. Thanks Rita for looking after him so well.
Since the first moment I contacted PetStay I felt it was the right choice. We had to organise this as a last minute stay and Cheryl who is a manager kindly supported us in a very professional way. We left Treacle with carer Chris for 3 days and it has been an outstanding experience. Our dog has been really spoiled and well treated. Chris had a lot of patience and delivered exceptional home boarding service. She truly cared about our dog’s well being and bonded with her easily. We will be definitely using the service in the future.
We are repeat users of Petstay and feel confident that Rogan has a lovely rapport with Flo and her family.
We particularly like the fact that Petstay sitters only look after one dog in their home and that there are reassuring guidelines and procedures for us all to follow.
Thank you for providing such a loving, friendly service that allows us to holiday with peace of mind.
‘At 12 years old Toots is a Petstay pro now. Over the years she’s stayed with lots of different carers, and I would thoroughly recommend this service. All the carers have been fantastic. Toots stayed with Rita this time, and as expected, I came home to a very happy dog.’
Mary looked after our dog Bella twice in July. I was really hesitant about leaving her but Mary was brilliant and re-assuring. Bella was happy to stay and was very content and happy on our return. We will definitely use Mary from Petstay again in the future xx.
We are so pleased that we found Petstay and our dog’s carers Linda & Harry. We can now go on holiday secure in the knowledge that our dog is happy and well cared for while we are away.
Bella & Oliver
My two dogs had an absolutely amazing time with Pat and John. We felt at ease leaving our dogs there for 16 nights and had great communication throughout our holiday! One of our dogs is very high maintenance and is always a bother when we leave her but she had a great time and came back in a fantastic mood! We have booked in for our next holiday and we are excited to see our dogs have their very own holiday with Pat and John! We cannot thank them enough for taking the best care of our two Shih tzus!
Melanie & Paige
A second stay with Rita for our Lhasa Apso Ollie, we had a fab holiday knowing he was safe and happy with PetStay.
Cookie & Woody
Cookie and Woody really enjoyed their stay with Pat & John. They were well looked after and settled in well with them.
We were very happy with the care Lily received from Flo and Lily was very happy there.
Amber has spent a full month in the great care of Kathy and her dog Misty. Amber is a cockerpoo who is only six months old and she really needed the attention of Kathy and the mature guidance of Misty. I would not hesitate to use their service again. Thanks PetStay (Leeds) for a great service.
5*- Value for money
John and Pat are very welcoming and delightful people. Who looked after our pet Fudge for the second with many more to come, she was extremely well looked after with care and duty. Fudge felt as if she was at home and she was very happy with them as you can see in the photo. Would definitely recommend! Thank you very much
Eddie has had the best holiday possible staying with Pat and John. He was very well looked after! Not only that but Pat and John looked after me too, by making me feel very reassured that Eddie would be cared for and also being available for me to get in touch whenever I wanted to put my mind at rest. I will definitely use Pat and John again and they will be my first choice for looking after Eddie in the future. A lovely couple and very welcoming to dogs and humans alike!!
It was lovely to know he was well looked after!
Thank you Kathy for looking after Ruby so well. She was relaxed and happy when we came to pick her up. Kathy was understanding of Ruby’s needs and handled her brilliantly. Also Cheryl was so helpful and tried really hard to find the right sitter at quite short notice.
Pat and John have looked after Ty on two occasions (one for 1 week and one for 2 weeks) they are fantastic. Having never left Ty with anyone other than family I was worried to leave him, but they have made me feel so at ease and I wouldn’t have anyone else look after him now. They’re devoted to the dogs they look after and Ty didn’t even look at me when I went to pick him up after his most recent stay, I think he would have happily stayed there!!
I recommend PetStay to everybody, such a great company Cheryl has been really helpful through out the whole thing.
First I want to say thank you so much for referring us to Sophie. Madda was so happy, relaxed, and not displaying any neurotic behaviour whatsoever. She was even fitter than when I left her, I was so happy and grateful. I dare say she’d go live with Sophie in a heartbeat! And it was so thoughtful of Sophie to send me little updates and photos!
We have just collected our little Yorkie from Linda and Harry who have looked after her as if she were there own. We were worried about leaving her as she has a delicate digestive system and has had both her back legs pinned we need not have worried as her needs were taken on board and followed carefully.
This has made our holiday stress free and we would recommend highly Linda and Harry to any pet owner looking for first class care of there pet. We will be using them for all future holidays were Lucy needs caring for, thank you so much.
George & Hope
I would like to thank Pat and John for their care of George during our recent trip. He came back happy and calm and I cannot recommend PetStay and Pat and John for their attention to detail and desire to accommodate both pet and owner with nothing being too much trouble. I will certainly be using PetStay again. Thank you
Bertie has had a fabulous time staying with Jayne and Michael in Yeadon. He has obviously had lots of exercise, playtime and cuddles as he was very content. Would definitely use PetStay in the future.
George has just had a lovely few days with Jayne and Michael in Yeadon.
This was our first experience of PetStay and it has been first class from our first contact. Cheryl was helpful and thorough and found us careers immediately.
As a retired racing dog George is sensitive and anxious and does not do well in kennels so this is the perfect alternative, allowing us to leave him without worry.
I would recommend PetStay to everyone and Jayne was absolutely wonderful giving us updates on how George was doing. He came back very happy and I have no worries on leaving him again in the hands of PetStay and Jayne or their other careers.
PetStay offer a fantastic service for dogs! Home from home and wouldn’t hesitate to use again. My dog was matched to a suitable sitter very close to our home and had a wonderful time whilst we were away. He was thoroughly cared and looked happy and healthy on return. Would highly recommend this service, it’s fabulous! It was great to go on holiday feeling relaxed about my dog! Will definitely use PetStay again. Thank you so so much – you have been wonderful!
“From the initial visit to collecting jack we knew we had made the right decision. We could not have been happier with the service provided by Mary, she took on board the difficulties Jack has and I couldn’t believe how well he made himself at home. Jack is quite a nervous old dog but Mary was great with him. Thank you for doing such a great job and putting our mind at ease. Would we use Mary again…absolutely she was brilliant!!”“
“Amazing service from start to finish. After the initial meeting with the carers selected by PetStay we were very happy to leave our Jack Russell in their care. Our dog is a rescue, he’s a bit older and has a few issues that needed accommodating – this was no problem Cheryl talked through everything with us and made sure we had carers that matched our needs. We had a lovely relaxed holiday knowing that Jack was being cared for and we came back to a happy, relaxed dog who seemed like he’d had more of a holiday than us.
Highly recommend we will definitely be using the service again!“
“Flo looked after Sabi as we took a family trip to Lisbon for a long weekend. I was initially worried about him as he’s a rescue dog who was found on the streets as a puppy, so he can be a very sensitive soul, and I was concerned he might get distressed with us being away and not staying with family like he usually does when we need a pet sitter. Anyway, I had absolutely nothing to worry about, Flo was perfect for Sabi, she was very patient with him and understood he just needed a bit of time to come out of his shell on his own terms & he didn’t seem to that bothered about leaving when I picked him up! Will definitely love to have Sabi stay with Flo again in the future, thank you!“
“Many thanks for sorting our last min needs for Rafferty. Much appreciated. Very happy with Flo who he stayed with.”
“We have just collected Ollie from his holiday with Rita.
Rita text me while we were away letting us know Ollie was settled and happy. I can honestly say we didn’t worry about him, we knew he would be happy and well looked after.
We picked him up earlier this morning and he looks well, well groomed and happy.
We will definitely use PetStay and hopefully Rita again.”
“Just to give you feedback on Tattie’s recent stay with Linda and Harry. In a word it was “brilliant”. They fell in love with her and she with them. If Tattie could talk she would say how much she is looking forward to spending 2 weeks with them in May. Thank you Linda and Harry, we have no hesitation in recommending you, Cheryl and the organisation.”
Chris & Mal
Pippin, our cockapoo, stayed with Jayne and Michael for 4 days. What a lovely, warm and friendly family. Pippin was very well cared for and am sure would have been happy to stay longer. From the first meeting to pick up, Jayne ensured everything was just right. The best PetStay carers to date. I would not hesitate to use them again, and recommend them highly. Thank you.
He’s had a lovely time with Lydia whilst we were away skiing, he is always very happy to go to Lydia for his holiday when we have ours. He settles in so quickly there, so we can relax on holiday knowing he’s well cared for.
Frank is very unsettled when away from home and he just wasn’t happy in kennels.
Initially he had an overnight trial where he was unsettled which was to be expected but the carer was so helpful and patient with him and he eventually settled and we were able to go away knowing he was looked after and happy.
We no longer have to worry about what to do with him whilst we are away as we know he loves his home from home.
John and Pat were absolutely fantastic and would definitely use them again in the near future. Fudge had recently injured her paw and John and Pat looked after her so well, giving the medication on time to ensure she’s on her way to a speedy recovery, and they followed our instructions wonderfully. When Fudge came back she was fully recovered and extremely happy and excitable. They gave Fudge all the love and attention I definitely would recommend them! Thanks a lot, 5/5!
We’ve used PetStay on a number of different occasions and Cheryl is always very professional, friendly and accommodating in order to find us sitters for Reggie when our regular ones may not be available. When Reggie has stayed with either Pat and John, Linda and Harry or Lydia he seems to have had the best time and is well looked after which is such an important piece of mind for us as he really is part of our family.
Hi Cheryl, We enjoyed our holiday and it helped having peace of mind knowing that our dog Lucas, was in your care.
John and Pat cared for Lucas and we can’t thank them enough.
They are a delightful couple who obviously love dogs.
They made us very welcome when we paid them the initial visit
and were keen to know all about Lucas.
When we collected Lucas he was happy to see us but continued to follow Pat and John around their home……..a sure sign he had been well looked after!!! We thanked John and Pat for their care but it would be appreciated if you were to reiterate our thanks to them.
I would have no qualms about recommending PetStay, and particularly Pat and John, to anyone. Thank you so much.
Ray & Carolyn
Scamp & Pixie
My old boy Scamp 12yrs Sheltie and younger Pixie the border collie have had a happy weekend stay with carer Sophie in Chapel Allerton. They both have very different needs of which were accommodated with ease, even going out of their way at times. I would highly recommend Petstay as an alternative to kennels for our next holiday.
Our little Yorkie just had her second stay away from home she has a very delicate digestive system and I’m pleased to say her diet was adhered to which meant her routine was unbroken, she was taken for walks and introduced to other people at a local church meeting and she was fine so for a nervous dog I’m pleased all went well. She was allowed to sleep in her crate which is her comfort and safe zone she was very pleased to greet us on our return home but is having a little sulk today for leaving her. I don’t think PetStay is the cheapest by any means but you get what you pay for and I would recommend PetStay to all who want a break away and worry about leaving there much loved and precious pets at home.
Our dog TERRY stayed with LINDA and HARRY for the last 2 weeks. We selected PETSTAY because we didn’t want to leave Terry in kennels. The service provided by pet stay is Excellent.
LINDA and HARRY are a lovely couple who really cared about the dogs they look after.
TERRY settled in almost straight away being made a fuss of by LINDA.
When we went to pick TERRY up we could see that he was happy and relaxed and looked as though we had come to spoil his holiday.
We have no hesitation in using PETSTAY again and would definitely choose LINDA and HARRY if possible.
September 2017, Leeds
PetStay Leeds have been fantastic. The local sitters they have found for our jack Russell have all been wonderful, and have cared for our dog like she was their own. We have gone back time and again. We would recommend PetStay to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy dog sitter.
September 2017, Leeds
Misty stayed with her carer, Rita, for 2 weeks and came back happy and contented. I was impressed by the pre stay checks which ensured I was happy with the arrangements and Rita met Misty before the stay and knew they were compatible. Previously Misty had stayed in kennels and although well cared for came back stressed and anxious. This time I came back to a happy contented dog who had enjoyed her stay in Rita’s home. It was great to be able to keep in contact with Rita by text and I enjoyed my holiday knowing Misty was well cared for and content. Misty was happy in her home from home and I have already booked Rita to care for Misty on my next holiday.
September 2017, Leeds
Finding the right holiday home for our beloved Bulldog Bentley was of paramount importance to us. On our first meeting with Linda and Harry with Bentley we just knew they were the right Carers. He was integrated within the family and we were informed Bentley was a particular hit with the grandchildren! Thank you so much for your kind love and affection you gave to him. Infact in the first 2 days of him being back home he seems to be a little down in the dumps ?? We sure will not hesitate to contact Cheryl at Petstay and of course Linda and Harry, for our next holiday. Cheryl has been very efficient from start to finish and her communication has been first class. Thank you all. Love from Belinda Chris and Makenzie and of course Bentley Boo!! X. .
September 2017, Leeds
Alfie (black lab) was really well cared for during a 3 week stay and came home very happy and healthy.
August 2017, Leeds
We have just returned from picking Cassie up from Harry and Linda and just wanted to give you some feedback.
Firstly well done for pairing us with them, Harry and Linda are an absolutely lovely couple and the way they looked after Cassie couldn’t have been better.
Cassie looked like she had had a great time and David and I could tell that she had been well loved and cared for just like we do.
They are a credit to Petstay and we won’t hesitate in booking them again, we are now looking for dates for a longer break. We can’t boost them up enough but unfortunately for us that means that they will get booked up now because anyone who leaves their dog with them will be wanting to re-book and we may struggle to fit Cassie in!
So anyway, just wanted to say thanks again and if you could pass on our thanks again to Linda and Harry please too.
Hilary and David and of course Cassie
Our dog Lucas is used to having us around all day, so we wanted a real home from home for him when we went on holiday.
We did a lot of research, finding some forms of boarding definitely not to our liking, before striking lucky and finding Kath and Colin. We rang to ask about the service they offer and after speaking for a little while we arranged to visit them at their home. This was an extremely important aspect of having Lucas looked after; we needed to see that he was going to be comfortable in a ‘strange’ environment. We were immediately put at our ease with the way Kath and Colin reacted to Lucas and more importantly the way he reacted to them. We told Kath and Colin about the things Lucas likes to do. A careful note was made so that his usual routine could be adhered to as much as possible. We left feeling reassured and confident we had made the correct decision regarding Lucas.
Lucas had all his familiar things with him when he went to stay with Kath and Colin, his bed and usual food and bowls and his toys. I asked if I could contact Kath and Colin during our holiday to make sure that Lucas was okay, and I was told that was no problem at all. We got an email telling us what they were getting up to together. More importantly, were told that Lucas was settled and happy.
We enjoyed a relaxing holiday knowing that Lucas was being looked after in just the way we needed him to be.
When we went to collect Lucas on our return he was playing ball in the garden with Kath, Colin and their grandson. He ran up to us to say hi, and then very quickly he went off to carry on playing ball with a ball that Kath and Colin had. He was in no hurry at all to leave his holiday home and new friends. Kath let Lucas bring his ball home as it was clear he was not at all willing to part with it. That ball is now his favourite toy, he takes it everywhere with him. He knows where it is at all times. We worry about what will happen should he lose it or it becomes worn out with so much use, he is so attached to it.
We would not hesitate to have Kath and Colin look after Lucas again, in fact we would plan our holiday around their availability! Lucas loves them and Kath and Colin obviously love Lucas and all the dogs they take care of. We know we found just the right people to look after Lucas. Thank you Kath and Colin – you are brilliant.
Lucas, West Yorkshire
Professional, caring and loving service. Bentley was well cared for and on our return we collected a well contented dog. Bentley is a large breed so we were so happy to find PetStay and our carers, Kath & Colin. We would highly recommend the PetStay service and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again, in fact we have just booked some more dates with Kath & Colin.
Ian Gibson, West Yorkshire
Tootsie & Frenchie
PetStay runs a great service and always comes up with a solution, even at short notice. All the carers that Toots and Frenchie have been placed with have been without fault, are well educated about dogs and clearly love animals. After having used this service, I would never put my dogs in kennels again. PetStay comes highly recommended.
Catherine, West Yorkshire
Texas & Dallas
We hadn’t taken our two dogs, Texas and Dallas to a kennels before. The one time we didn’t take them with us on holiday, they were looked after by a family member who had known them since birth! We were very nervous about leaving them with anyone else being young dogs and very much part of our family. As we needed to find somewhere nearer to home (rather than Scotland!) we looked at kennels. We tried them for one night, and although the kennels were clean, warm and well run, we just didn’t enjoy leaving them there. Kennels were not for us!
I found PetStay via the internet and contacted them as they seem to offer a home from home’ environments with various local pet carers. Kath and Colin became our local pet carers for Texas and Dallas, and from the moment we first met them with our dogs we knew our dogs would be very well looked after…and that we could rest assured that Texas and Dallas would be happy. Kath and Colin make sure our dogs’ routines are carried on, feeding times, walks, treat times, playing in the garden and bedtime routines too. Kath and Colin welcome our dogs into their home every holiday stay and being in a home environment rather than kennels is much better for both Texas and Dallas and for us!
Jill, South Yorkshire
I was looking for an alternative to kennels for my new young dog, Peppa. As she was a part of our family under no circumstances was I going to leave her in a normal kennel environment no matter how highly recommended they came, cages, fences and minimal human contact was out of the question.
I also do not have any family I could leave her with when on holidays, so I made the decision I would stay at home and not go away because of not wanting to leave her. It was then I started to look on line and finally found PetStay After a number of calls to Carole about Peppa and what I wanted, I was put in contact with Kathryn and Colin.
As soon as I met them and saw how they were with Peppa(and how she was with them) I was more than to happy to finally book our summer holiday overseas. That was nearly two years ago now and Peppa has stayed with Kathryn and Colin on numerous occasions, treating it like her second home.
She is part of their family when she stays with them, going on trips to the seaside, and visiting their friends and family – exactly the loving, family environment I was looking for. Peppa is booked in again for 4 weeks over the Christmas New Year period this year so I can visit my family in Australia.
All my holidays are now booked in around Kathryn and Colins available dates, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
